Rosental Mitte is constantly changing, not just due to its structural transformation, but also as a result of the new companies that are settling in Rosental Mitte. There is huge interest in the premises here.

It has already been confirmed that the Office of Economy and Labour for the canton of Basel-Stadt (AWA) and Westhive AG will move into building 1045. Besides running co-working and flexi offices, Westhive will also operate a publicly accessible restaurant with outdoor seating from summer 2022.

A biotech cluster with biology laboratories for young companies and start-ups from the life sciences sector is being created over two floors in building 1059. Water research laboratories will be custom-installed for the tenants IWB and the Office for the Environment and Energy for the canton of Basel-Stadt (AUE) on the top two floors. Renovation work began in April 2021 and the new tenants will be able to move in during the second quarter of 2022. BASF and Idemitsu will remain tenants on the lower floors.
